Tennessee-Made Food for Tennesseans

Our goal

This is a write-up block where someone who knows more about the goal and nuance of this bill is going to hopefully give me a write-up that I can plop in here. The following was generated by an AI:   Tennessee has the authority to regulate its own economy for the good of its citizens. Our proposed bill incentivizes the production and sale of Tennessean agriculture for the good of the Tennessean economy. As of now, more than $200 million of the $200 million is directed from the state budget. For this reason, the Tennessee Department of Agriculture will be paying for Tennessee food trucks and other private entities used by the state to deliver food to the city of Knoxville. The Tennessee Department of Agriculture also has responsibility for paying for the Nashville Tennessean Food Truck and Truck Alliance to provide delivery services. Additionally, the United States Department of Agriculture has assigned a total of just over $200 million (1,829,633) to the Tennessee Department of Agriculture in a contract with the Tennessee Food Truck Alliance for the delivery of livestock feed and vegetables on behalf of the Tennessee Department of Commerce, which is directed to procure the food from Tennessee farms through direct and indirect funding of the Tennessee Food Truck and Truck Alliance. The Tennessee Department of Agriculture works to provide the Food Truce industry with its ability to deliver essential food to the city of Knoxville. Our proposed bills would require more than $20 million of this $20 million from the funds appropriated by the Department of Agriculture and to cover these costs. The Tennessee Department of Agriculture's proposed legislation would allow it to provide a contract to ensure the procurement and sale of Tennessee's finest agricultural products, all within Tennessee.

The Constitution of the United States of America

The provisions in The Constitution concede the authority of the State of Tennessee to regulate its own economy in the interest of its citizens.
